Educational Qualification
- Full-Time Regular Bachelor’s Degree of three years in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and Mathematics OR
- Full-Time Regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any discipline (Physics & Mathematics must be subjects in at least one semester).
- Minimum proficiency in spoken and written English of 10+2 standard (passed English as one of the subjects).
- Note:
- The degree should be from a recognized or deemed university.
- Pass marks or equivalent required for a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Final-year students can apply but must produce final results at the time of Application Verification.
- Candidates with B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) degrees can apply.
- Departmental candidates with recognized degrees obtained through part-time/ correspondence/ distance education are eligible.
Age Limit and Relaxation
- Maximum age: 27 years as on 24.05.2025.

Remuneration
- Pay Scale (IDA): Rs. 40000 – 3% – 140000
- Approximate CTC: Rs. 13 Lakhs per annum
- Other Benefits: Dearness Allowance, Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Medical Benefits, and more as per AAI rules.
- Pay protection will be given to candidates joining through the proper channel from CPSEs/State PSUs/Government Departments as per DPE guidelines.
Application Fee and Mode of Remittance
- You must pay the application fee of ₹1000/- (inclusive of GST) online only. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
- SC/ST/PWD candidates and Apprentices who have completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI/Female candidates do not have to pay the fee.
- The application form is integrated with the payment gateway for online transactions.
- After submitting the form, candidates will be redirected to the SBI e-Pay Lite payment portal to complete the payment via Internet Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
- Candidates must bear any applicable bank charges or commission for the payment.
- After successful payment, the candidate should download and save the receipt for future reference. No need to send the printout to AAI Office.
- The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Duplicate payments will also not be refunded.
- Ensure secure payment by completing the transaction on a secure browser window.

- Upload one recent passport-size photograph with a white background (not older than 3 months).
- A photograph in a cap/hat/dark glasses will not be acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but must not cover the face.

Signature Image:
- Sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- The applicant must sign the document, not anyone else.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply.
- Final year/semester students may apply, but must produce final results at the time of Application Verification.
- Age, qualification, and eligibility conditions are as of 24.05.2025.
- OBC (NCL), EWS, SC/ST certificates must be valid and issued in prescribed formats.
- Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates) must be valid.
- Integrated Degree holders must produce a certificate showing Bachelor’s equivalency.
- Candidates with CGPA/OGPA/DGPA/CPI must submit the conversion formula/document from their university.
Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will appear for a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Admit Cards will be issued online only.
- There will be no negative marking in CBT.
- Shortlisted candidates based on CBT merit will undergo:

- Psychoactive Substances Test
- Psychological Assessment Test
- Medical Examination
- Background Verification
- Psychoactive substances tested will include:
- Amphetamine and its type stimulants
- Opiates and Metabolites
- Cannabis (Marijuana) – THC
- Cocaine
- Barbiturates
- Benzodiazepine
- Candidates testing positive for psychoactive substances will be disqualified.
- Final selection will be based on CBT performance, clearances in tests, and document verification.
- Selected candidates must:
- Execute a bond of Rs. 7 Lakhs to serve AAI for 3 years after training.
- Achieve ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4 or above during training.
- Serve anywhere in India as per requirement.
