Job Specifications
Engineer Trainee
- Education: Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or Five-year integrated Master’s degree in the relevant disciplines.
- Age Limit: Maximum 27 years (29 years for candidates with two years’ full-time Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Business Administration/Management).
Supervisor Trainee
- Education: Full-time regular Diploma in Engineering in the relevant disciplines with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST candidates).
- Age Limit: Maximum 27 years.
Selection Process
For Engineer Trainees
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE).
- Interview (Shortlisting in 1:5 ratio based on CBE marks).
- Final Merit List (75% CBE + 25% Interview).
For Supervisor Trainees
- Stage I: Computer-Based Examination (CBE).
- Stage II: Document Verification (Shortlisting in 1:3 ratio based on CBE marks).
- Final Merit List based on CBE marks.
Training & Salary
Engineer Trainees
- Training Period: 1 year.
- Stipend: Rs 50,000/- per month.
- Post-training Salary: Rs 60,000 – 1,80,000/- (CTC ~ Rs 12 Lakhs per annum).
Supervisor Trainees
- Training Period: 1 year.
- Stipend: Rs 32,000/- per month.
- Post-training Salary: Rs 33,500 – 1,20,000/- (CTC ~ Rs 7.5 Lakhs per annum).
Service Agreement Bond
- Engineer Trainees: Rs 5,00,000 bond for 3 years (excluding training period).
- Supervisor Trainees: Rs 3,00,000 bond for 3 years (excluding training period).

Important Notes
- Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in both Hindi & English.
- Selected candidates must serve at the allocated posting for at least 10 years.
