Position 1: Specialist Grade II (Senior Scale)

  • Pay Level: Level 12 of Pay Matrix
  • Initial Pay: ₹78,800/– as per 7th CPC
  • Additional Benefits: DA, NPA, HRA, Transport Allowance (as per rules)
Age Limit:
  • Maximum 45 years as on 26.05.2025
  • Age relaxation:
    • Up to 5 years for ESIC/Government employees
    • As per GoI norms for SC/ST/OBC (only if posts are reserved)
Essential Qualifications:
  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by NMC/MCI
  2. PG Degree in relevant specialty (refer to official Table A)
  3. Minimum 5 years’ experience post PG degree in the relevant specialty
  4. Passed middle-level exam in official language of the state OR possess working knowledge of local language
Notes:
  • DM/M.Ch holders (5 years) can count senior residency towards experience
  • Experience relaxable for deserving candidates at Appointing Authority’s discretion
  • Attach all relevant experience certificates (as on 26.05.2025)
  • Non-medical candidates are NOT eligible

Position 2: Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale)

  • No of posts: 403 posts
  • Pay Level: Level 11 of Pay Matrix
  • Initial Pay: ₹67,700/- as per 7th CPC
  • Additional Benefits: DA, NPA, HRA, Transport Allowance (as per rules)
Age Limit:
  • Maximum 45 years as on 26.05.2025
  • Same relaxation criteria as Senior Scale
Essential Qualifications:
  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by NMC/MCI
  2. PG Qualification in relevant specialty
  3. Experience:
    • 3 years (PG Degree holder)
    • 5 years (PG Diploma holder)
  4. Language Proficiency as per regional requirements

Selection Procedure

  • Mode: Interview (venue decided by ESIC)
  • Bring original and self-attested documents
  • Qualifying Marks (out of 100):
    • UR/EWS: 50 | OBC: 45 | SC/ST/PwBD: 40
  • Tie-breaking:
    1. Elder age
    2. Earlier date of PG degree
    3. Earlier internship completion (if any)
