Educational Qualification
A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an Indian or foreign university recognized by the Government.
Citizenship

Residentship
- Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
- A PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate must be submitted as proof of residency.

- Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website, link of which is given in the Important links section below and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW
- Applicants must produce the hard copy of their online application, along with the original documents, self-attested copies, and other items specified in the Intimation Letter/Admit Card, at the time of the interview. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the interview. The required documents include:
- Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Mark sheet of Class-X/Class-XII examinations issued by a Central/State Board, clearly indicating the Date of Birth.
- Certificates and mark sheets of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to the qualifying examination.
- Degree/Diploma certificates with marksheets for all academic years, or provisional certificates if final certificates are unavailable.
- Caste certificate issued by the Government of Assam for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates, clearly mentioning caste, recognition under relevant acts/orders, and residential details.
- BPL certificate issued by the Government of Assam, if applicable.
- Declaration Form-A, as per Assam Public Services Rules (Small Family Norms), 2019, downloadable from the APSC website.
- Supporting documents for any additional claims made.
Note: The Date of Birth entered in the Online Recruitment Application is final. No requests for changes will be entertained. Only Class-X/Class-XII Board Admit Cards, Pass Certificates, or Mark sheets recording the Date of Birth will be accepted for age determination.
