Eligibility Criteria for RBI JE Recruitment
- Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 and not have attained 30 years.
- Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years for Gen/EWSs, 15 years for SC/ST/ PwBD & 13 years for OBC PwBD.
Educational Qualification for RBI JE Recruitment
- Junior Engineer (Civil): A minimum of a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute, University, or Board with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD), or a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): A minimum of a three-year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized Institute, University, or Board with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD), or a Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Experience needed for RBI JE Recruitment
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma holders with a minimum of 2 years of experience or degree holders with at least 1 year of experience in the execution and supervision of civil construction work and/or civil maintenance of office buildings, commercial buildings, or residential complexes. This would include basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparing tenders for civil works, etc., or completion of a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): At least 2 years experience for a Diploma holder. The work experience will count at least 1-year for the degree holder working on execution and supervision work related to electrical installation including in big buildings and HT/LT substations; Central AC plants; Elevators, UPS, DG-sets; CCTV and all the Fire Alarm System/s in Commercial Buildings; Alternately a 1-Year graduate Apprenticeship/industrial training from one PSU.
